The Phrase
Phrase: All the roads lead to Rome Meaning: Rome was so vast an empire that practically every road would take you to Rome. Now it means that it does not matter which choice you make as long as you obtain the same result.
Examples:
-You will find two paths. Take the one to the left.
-And if I take the one to the right by mistake?
-No problem, either. All the roads lead to Rome. It will only take you longer to get to your destination.
-Can I finish this at home?
-No problem. As long as it is on my desk first time in the morning, all the roads lead to Rome (ie, do what you wish). Subject: Wishes
