The Phrase
Phrase: Have faith in somebody or something Meaning: If you have faith in somebody, you trust him / her. If you have faith in something, you feel confident about it.
The opposite is "lose faith in somebody or something".
Examples:
He says that he will succeed, but I do not have (much) faith in him / I have not (got) (much) faith in him, that is, I think that he will not be capable of doing it.
I have lost faith in European politicians and justice. I do not trust them any more.
